2.11.- Oraciones y preguntas con la expresión “used to”

"used to" + base form of the verb

 Oraciones afirmativas:

Aquí algunos ejemplos:

1.- You used to exercise every day.
(Tu solías ejercitar todos los días)

2.- He used to live in USA.
(El solía vivir en Estados Unidos)

3.- They used to like rap music.
(A ellos solían gustarles la música rap)

 Oraciones negativas:

1.- You didn't use to exercise every day.
(Tu no solías ejercitar todos los días)

2.- He didn't use to live in USA.
(El no solía vivir en Estados Unidos)

3.- They didn't use to like rap music.

Ejemplos:

1.- Did you use to exercise every day?
(¿Solías tu ejercitar todos los días?)
Yes, I did / No, I didn't

2.- Did he use to live in USA?
(¿Solía el vivir en Estados Unidos?)
Yes, he did / No, he didn't

3.- Did they use to like rap music?
(¿Solían a ellos gustarles la música rap?)
Yes, they did / No, they didn't

B. Preguntas de respuesta especifica

Ejemplos:

1.- When did you use to exercise?
(¿Cuándo solías ejercitar?)
- I used to exercise on saturdays.
(Yo solía ejercitar los sábados.)

2.- Where did he use to live?
(¿Donde solía el vivir?)
- He used to live in USA.
(El solía vivir en Estados Unidos.)

3.- What music did they use to like?
(¿Que música solía gustarles a ellos?)
- They used to like rap music.
